Regional General Manager for Tri State Golf Company currently oversees golf operations for all 3 Tri State Golf properties. Steve has over 35 years of experience in all phases for the golf business. His first job as a young man was working on the grounds crew of the local golf course. He developed his skills as young player, won the Club Championship twice, would go on to play in college and would later become a member of the PGA of America.
Steve served as Head Golf Professional at Alpine Country Club for 13 years where he learned private club operations. He moved on to become a Director of Golf for 8 years at Brookmeadow Country Club where he gained knowledge in public operations. He then went on to work for Billy Casper Golf for almost 10 years where his passion for the business of golf earned him a position as a GM overseeing 3 properties for BCG.

Today Steve develops and oversees the budgets, forecasting, payroll, food & beverage operations, golf operations, manages IT operations, and Point of Sale systems. Steve is actively involved in Marketing and membership sales. Steve is one of a few golf operators that has read the “Golf Marketing Bible.” A rare baby boomer who understands social medial and its impact on marketing.

Steve is a lifelong Rhode Islander, attended Roger Williams University where he Studied Architectural Engineering, is a 25-year member of the PGA of America, he sits on the Board of Director for the New England Golf Course Owners Association, is Certified in Food Safety Handling, and TIPS certified for alcohol safety, and is very familiar in the New England Golf landscape.
Steve currently lives in Smithfield RI, and when he is not spending long hours overseeing the golf properties, he enjoys spending time with his family, wife Deborah, daughter Melissa, son Christopher at their summer rental in Pt Judith RI.
