Member Services Representative

The Position:

The Member Services Representative, an essential part of the NGCOA team, will oversee member engagement in our products, services, conferences, sponsored events, and online tools. 


The primary responsibilities of this job involve the following:

  • Manage golf course owner/operator involvement in Corporate Partnership programs, including the NGCOA Smart Buy Marketplace buying group, market testing, focus groups, etc.

  • Support the engagement of Special Interest Groups within NGCOA, including Multi-Course Owners, Top Agronomic Officers, Top Resort Officers, Municipal Operators and others.

  • Work with various staff, task forces and committees to oversee existing and new program development. 

  • Meet identified member attendance goals at our various conferences and events.

  • Measure and grow current member participation in our online tools and educational resources, including the online Accelerate community, podcast and web show listenership and viewership, various data and research projects and more.

  • Assist in the administration of NGCOA’s new Champions Circle program, which involves annual member contributions to support our vital advocacy efforts.


Success in this job is measured by attendance numbers against our budgeted and stretch goals, measurable improvements in member engagement in our legacy and new programs and services, satisfaction results from our members and sponsors, and sticking to budget limitations.


Status: Full Time

Reports to: Senior Director of Membership


Requirements and Preferences:

  • Minimum of 3 years of association membership experience preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, organizational skills, problem-solving skills

  • Strong project management, member management, and vendor management skills 

  • Proficient in Google Workspace - Gmail, Sheets, Docs, and other Google apps

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
