Why has the schedule been adjusted?
The adjusted schedule will allow attendees to focus almost exclusively on the Golf Industry Show on Wednesday and Thursday. There will be no worrying about attending a session that competes with the activity on the floor. It will also allow attendees to return to their facilities and their families in time for the weekend.
The decision was made based upon attendee and exhibitor survey feedback. We enlisted the consultation of Steven Hacker, CAE, President of the International Association for Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) and of Skip Cox, President/CEO of Exhibit Surveys, Inc. The new schedule of events represents a maturing of the Golf Industry Show based upon our success. We are always evaluating our event for opportunities to enhance the experience for attendees and exhibitors.
What are the Golf Industry Show Opening Events on Wednesday and Thursday?
Some of the best feedback we have received has been on the larger sessions featuring energetic, captivating and entertaining keynote speakers. We will begin each day with a session featuring a similar presentation that is sure to provide energy as you walk the trade show floor. Attendees and exhibitors are invited to attend the exciting Combined General Sessions before the trade show opens. This is an exclusive opportunity to renew acquaintances and meet new friends. More details will be communicated in the coming months.
What is the Golf Industry Show Closing Event on Thursday evening?
The Closing Event will be a celebration of the show just completed and a preview of the next year's event. More details will be communicated in the coming months.
Will I be able to attend the same amount of conference education with the new schedule?
We believe that with the non-competing event format during the trade show, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in even more education. The exact schedule has not been developed, but we see fewer conflicts than in the past.
